Say what you will, but there is a bona fide reason why the framers of the constitution placed an age requirement of 35 years for the office of President of the United States. It was assumed that at that age, the youthful indiscretions were in the rear-view mirror. That the person would have the proper mental acuity and emotional balance necessary to understand the world stage they would be on, and act accordingly. Obviously, they could not have assumed a narcissistic, borderline personality, ego maniac like Trump could EVER convince an intelligent populace to vote for him. They obviously forgot the mess they created with the Electoral College and plurality voting… two prime examples of the road to Hell being paved with good intentions!
To put this in perspective, we need not look further than the trouble caused by Trump and Vance with their absolutely FALSE claims about Haitian immigrants eating dogs and cats and neighborhood pets while squatting in homes and engaging in violence on the streets of Springfield,Ohio…which we now know from Vance’s interview were knowingly false inventions designed to get media attention focused back on Trump.
Let that sink in for a moment. And while that settles into your head, let’s take a look at what those fake words have actually caused … fake words, I might add, from a man who now sees the possibility of a win slowly fading and is desperate to fire up his base in the hopes of getting them back on track with him.
In the days after the debate where Trump made his fake claim about the dogs and cats getting eaten by Haitian immigrants (LEGAL immigrants and those granted temporary asylum to escape their violent country)), the small town of Springfield, OH, with a population of just 60,000 received no less than 33 bomb threats to two elementary schools and a middle school on multiple days, a hospital and surgical center multiple days, public buildings on multiple days, and even a threat of an intended mass shooting event at a small college in town which resulted in the college closing it’s classrooms and switching to remote learning. The town’s annual diversity festival, a two-day event that brings the community out had to be cancelled as well. THAT is what happens when an imbecile is given a microphone. The mayor summed it up rather well when he said, “Anybody on the national stage that takes a microphone, needs to understand what they could do to communities like Springfield with their words. They’re not helping. They’re hurting communities like ours with their words.”
A leader isn’t supposed to endanger our children. Yet, Trump has done NOTHING BUT. When over 40% of his own Senior Staff and Cabinet members from his first term as President have publicly stated that he is not fit for office, it should be given consideration. If it were one or two…maybe they were just disgruntled. But over 40%??? WHEN, in over 250 years of this country’s existence, was it EVER recorded that almost half of a President’s PERSONALLY PICKED closest advisors and Cabinet members all are giving the same warning about a person they have personally served under?
During his last presidency, murder in the US reached a record high and sustained it throughout his term. It has dropped under Biden. It has nothing to do with the office they held but with the words they spoke. If your speech is hate-filled, fear mongering, vitriol designed to incite rage in your base, rage is what you’ll get. During his 2016 and 2020 campaigns, violent crime spiked in EVERY major city that Trump had rallies in. This is NOT a coincidence.
And if we believe that a second attempt on Trump’s life was NOT staged, then you have to laugh hysterically at Trump’s assertion that it was the Biden Harris rhetoric that caused it. He even went on his failing Truth Social page to denounce the “Hatred, Abuse, and Distrust” he said was spreading through the country. He blamed it, in-part, on what he claimed were “false statements made by Comrade Kamala Harris during the rigged and highly partisan ABC Debate”.
First, there is a term in the English language for this sort of thing…it’s called, HYPOCRISY. The ONLY person using hate-filled, abusive and/or distrustful language or pushing the same, is Trump himself. Imagine the audacity … the brass testicles needed to be able to preach integrity from the bowels of deceit, treachory and corruption.
As far as the debate being rigged, Trump is like a 5 year old playing a board game and throwing a temper-tantrum claiming you’re cheating when they lose. Anyone who watched that debate knows that he was fact checked for overly blatant lies… once regarding the Haitian immigrants eating pets and the other when he claimed that Democrats allow infanticide (he called it a late term abortion AFTER the child is born) which has, and always was, illegal and considered murder in all 50 states. Those are some whoppers, and allowing the public to think either of those two pieces of sheer bovine excrement had even a scintilla of legitimacy could lead to…well…a Springfield, OH situation. And let’s face the facts…they gave Trump LOTS of time to interject…even when it was not his turn…but they shut Harris down the two times she tried to do the same. Trump got WAY more latitude…the fact that he chose to use that extra time to spew more manure than a cow with a steady diet of Ex-Lax speaks more to his unhinged mental state than it does to any fake bias he claims existed.
When a world leader can’t understand the basics about the potential damage and violence their public statements can cause, when they foment distrust in our neighbors simply because of their skin color or ethnic background, when they generate more division in the population than inclusion, if you are a rational human being with even a modicum of intellect, you have to do some honest introspection and soul-searching if you think THAT is the person for the job.
This guy was the first, and ONLY U.S. President to get laughed AT in the UN General Assembly. Moreover, he was too self-absorbed to realize it. He actually thought they were laughing WITH him…but in interviews with world leaders after his UN remarks, they ALL made it clear they were laughing AT his assertion that he was the best President and did the most of any President. They laughed at the emperor with no clothes!
And more recently, on September 12th, during his press conference on the California drought issue, Trump said that a “very large faucet” in British Columbia. could help California’s drought, bringing water “all the way down to Los Angeles.” “You have no water down here” he said.
Then he said he “had it all done,” but then pointed the finger at California Governor Gavin Newsom.
“So you have millions of gallons of water pouring down from the north, with the snow caps and Canada and all pouring down and they have an, essentially, a very large faucet. You turn the faucet on – and it takes one day to turn – it’s massive, it’s as big as the wall of that building right there.”
It should be noted that British Columbia is in a state of drought and as yet, they have been unable to find the spigot to fill their water basins that are currently in the most severe stage of drought after three years of below normal precipitation.
If this sounds oddly familiar, you might be harkening back to the days of Trump giving Covid advice on the national stage like injecting bleach or disinfectants (ideas which resulted in a huge spike in 911 calls across the nation, not surprisingly).
Wake up America. This man shouldn’t even have keys to his car, much less to the Whitehouse or the Nuclear Codes!
