For the past 40 years, one political party has been screaming that the other party was “coming for your guns.” 40 YEARS and there are 434 MILLION GUNS owned in the US…more than HALF of those were acquired since the mid 1990’s according to Guns.com (a pro gun, NRA buddy). Interestingly, only 47% of Americans own them meaning 153.5 MILLION of the US population (currently at 326.7 million) own nearly 3 guns each on average. If anyone was coming for your guns, it sure as hell wasn’t anyone in THIS country!
During those same 40 years of the NRA’s successful marketing ploy engineered by the NRA and gun manufacturers’ lobbyists and friendly, bought and paid for politicians, Democrats controlled BOTH HOUSES of Congress AND the Presidency for two years under Clinton. Two years under Obama, and two years under Biden. If they wanted to take your guns, they had every opportunity several times and there would have been nothing to stop them. You were lied to and you ate it up like your mother’s best cooked meal.
It certainly wasn’t the first time, nor will it be the last. More recently, the cacophony of bovine excrement being spewed by our familiar actors is about the Central Bank Digital Coin (CBDC), and oh boy are they frantic.
Politicians like the facial anomaly, “anus with teeth” known as Senator Ted Cruz, and of course, the House Majority Whip Rep. Tom Emmer have all weighed in on the issue decrying it as a violation of privacy as if their anti-abortion stance is not a far more pervasive and an ACTUAL invasion of a woman’s privacy.
Here’s the facts. China, Russia and over 130 other countries are moving away from the US Dollar. China alone had dumped more than $100 Billion of US debt in its effort to promote their central bank digital currency just in the past year. Digital currency is considered to be the new mode of payment. Even Saudi Arabia is moving to sell their oil based on China’s, India’s and Russia’s money rather than the US Dollar. And they have also asked to join the geopolitical bloc known as BRICS, an acronym for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa which have announced they intend to unveil their new DIGITAL CURRENCY at their meeting this month (June 2024). If the U.S. doesn’t compete digitally, we will all be holding worthless paper soon. Biden’s executive order 2 years ago was a challenge to the Federal Reserved to RESEARCH how to create a SAFE digital coin with safeguards and personal privacy for smaller transactions. The order was forward thinking, but of course, like everything from toilet paper to toothpaste in Washington, it was turned into a politically motivated scare tactic alleging the government was trying to reach into your personal life, surveille you and control what you can buy.
If any of them bothered to read the order, they would see that NOTHING in the order even hints at surveillance or violating privacy or controlling where you spend it. They are trying to figure out how to make it safe from hackers, less volatile than bitcoin and other digital coins, while maintaining personal privacy and autonomy to use it whenever and wherever you want. That takes research. LOTS of it. Thus the order to start researching. But don’t take my word for it. Read it for yourself here.
Leave it to the clowns running the circus in the House of Representatives to turn common sense scientific inquiry into a political powder keg for the intellectually challenged.
Unfortunately, these issues don’t even portray the tip of the iceberg of inane, dangerous, and irresponsible rhetoric being spewed by the Troglodytes in ties roaming the Capitol Halls.
Tune into any conservative news network and you will hear how they are being silenced by the cancel culture on the left. REALLY??? Because I can certainly hear your chronic whining about all the things you are literally saying but you claim you can’t say! And as far as cancelling goes, the only people cancelling ANYONE are the very morons claiming to be the victims but who are actually the perpetrators. Need proof? Ask Liz Cheney why she was expelled from the GOP. I’ll give you a hint…she had an independent thought about Trump during the insurrection of January 6th. Not good enough? Then ask Kevin McCarthy why he is no longer Speaker of House and leaving office. Those are just two…there are more. The GOP has become a body of lying whiners crying hungry with loaves of bread under their arms.
